Directing Workshop

What happens between the page and the stage? This practical workshop explores the director’s work: interpreting text, developing a theatrical vision, working with actors, shaping rhythm and movement, making choices around space, design and sound, and holding the many parts of a production together. Designed for emerging directors and theatre-makers, it treats directing as the art of seeing possibilities in a story and helping an ensemble bring them to life.
