An evening event designed to mimic the idea of the village square setting in many traditional African cultures of the past. The audience is seated around the storyteller, a masterful orator whose prosody and knowledge of oral folktale is remarkable. The stories to be featured are fables, ancient stories, myths and legends originating from indigenous cultures.

Yoruba Quiz
Fàdákà Fest in partnership with Àtẹlẹwọ́ and Dùndún Centre bring you a fun, exciting and entertaining live Yorùbá game where the contestant is to speak and respond entirely in Yorùbá language. This will also take the form of a tournament where the candidate who makes it to the final stage unsullied wins.
